Tell us a little about yourself
Hello, I’m Juho, a summer trainee at Movesense. I have been working here for a while now and it has been a cool experience to see how things work in this kind of industry.
What are your main tasks at Movesense?
I have done a lot of versatile work. My daily tasks include, for example, receiving and checking the quality of incoming packages as well as gathering and shipping products. I also assemble various accessory products on site.
What have you learnt so far?
A thing that surprised me was how busy office work is. There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes. While everyone has different tasks, we all work together for a common goal.
What has been the best at Movesense so far?
Well, the work atmosphere here is awesome. While the workday is mostly busy, there is always space for a little bit of humor and jokes. That really brightens up the mood. I think that it also improves productivity, because you don’t have to be serious-minded and isolated from other people for seven to eight hours a day.
Tell something surprising about yourself!
I fix and ride motorcycles in my free time. I go for a ride with my friends daily. A few times a summer there’s a gathering of hundreds of motorcyclists. In my opinion, it’s one of the highlights of summer, as you get to meet a lot of new people that are interested in the same topics as you. As a youngster myself, it is no wonder I’m interested in motorcycles as this kind of culture is strong among the youth here in Finland.
