CardioRTHM: A Wearable ECG Monitor for Remote Heart Monitoring
We are excited to announce the launch of our new medical solution, the CardioRTHM – a wearable ECG monitor for remote heart monitoring. The wireless CardioRTHM solution helps capture hard-to-find arrhythmias. It records and stores high-quality ECG and heart rate data. Designed for convenience, it supports both continuous and event-based recordings, allowing users to capture ECG data anytime, anywhere. With seamless data sharing in multiple formats, it enables easy sharing of ECG measurement data with doctors and medical analysis software or systems. The solution includes the Movesense MD sensor, Movesense Chest Strap MD, and the intuitive Movesense ECG Recorder mobile app—everything you need for accurate, reliable, and convenient heart monitoring.
The Movesense MD sensor is a wearable medical device for measuring single-channel ambulatory ECG and heart rate. The Movesense Chest Strap is a soft fabric strap holding the Movesense MD sensor in place and enabling the ECG and heart rate measurement. The Movesense ECG Recorder is a free mobile application designed for viewing and recording ECG data and sharing it with healthcare professionals and third-party analysis solutions. The ECG Recorder application is available for iOS and Android.

Traditional ECG monitoring methods, such as Holter monitors, are often bulky and uncomfortable, limiting mobility and daily activities. With a commonly used monitoring window of only 24–48 hours, they frequently miss irregular cardiac events, requiring repeated tests that increase both inconvenience and costs.
At the same time, the increasing prevalence of cardiovascular diseases caused by the aging population significantly increases the need for ambulatory heart rhythm monitoring and timely interventions to prevent serious health problems. These challenges highlight the growing need for modern, scalable, wearable ECG monitoring solutions that are both effective and patient friendly.

The new CardioRTHM solution addresses these challenges head-on, offering significant advantages for remote patient monitoring. The patient can operate it themselves and measure their medical ECG anywhere, anytime. This simplifies both short- and long-term ECG monitoring, making them more accessible and cost-efficient.
Unlike traditional devices, the Movesense MD sensors and the application can be used for both continuous ECG recording and as an event recorder to collect ECGs when symptoms occur, without being limited to predefined monitoring windows or equipment availability.
Once the recording is complete, the data can be shared effortlessly with medical professionals or compatible analysis platforms in CSV, PDF, or EDF+ formats, streamlining collaboration and enhancing analysis.
The Movesense MD sensor and its mobile application are expertly designed and certified to meet the needs of medical professionals, as well as end users—patients and consumers. This versatile system adapts seamlessly to a wide range of environments at home, within healthcare facilities, and also outdoors during daily activity.
The application offers a real-time, single-lead ECG waveform display and supports continuous recordings of up to 24 hours. Combined with the sensor’s 7-day battery life in continuous use, it delivers reliable, long-term performance for diverse monitoring needs.
Accurate Medical Heart Rate Data
Beyond ECG monitoring, the system provides medically certified Heart Rate data (beats per minute) and R-R interval measurements with one millisecond accuracy, making it a powerful tool for advanced applications like Heart Rate Variability (HRV) analysis.
To ensure accurate and actionable insights and care decisions, all ECG data captured by the Movesense MD must be interpreted by qualified healthcare professionals or certified diagnostic software in compliance with relevant medical regulations.
The Movesense MD system, including the Movesense MD sensor and Movesense ECG Recorder mobile application, is certified as a Class IIa medical device under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
