The Sport Product Testing group of Canadian Sports Institute Calgary has extensive background in sport biomechanics, exercise physiology, product development & innovation, and performance analysis. We provide expertise in design of testing procedures, subject recruitment, data collection & analysis, and scientific writing.

Utilizing a world class testing facility and a diverse population of recreational and elite athletes, products are analyzed with human subjects for functional performance, accuracy and reliability.  The results of our evaluations can be used for claim development or confirmation, and for marketing purposes. Additionally, a variety of techniques are used to gather insights about consumer needs, pain points and user friendliness of tested products.
